Our project is the subject of a Special Session - "Translational Research for the Management of Complex Diseases", which will take place Monday afternoon (8/1) at 1:30 PM. Drs. Wise, Shim, Bluhm and Carbone will describe new genomic strategies and decision aides, and show how these are being used for the management of the complex ear rot diseases caused by Aspergillus flavus and Fusarium verticillioides, two fungi that contaminate corn with aflatoxins and fumonisins. Open discussion will follow. For more information, contact the sessions organizers, Drs. Woloshuk and Shim.
